Clara Nandunda Kakai is a senior strategic communications and external affairs professional with over a decade of experience supporting NGOs, philanthropy organisations, funders and development partners across Africa and globally. She brings deep expertise in strategic communications, media relations, thought leadership, storytelling, donor communications and organisational positioning.

Clara has worked across public health, governance, agriculture, financial inclusion and philanthropy, supporting initiatives in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to effectively showcase impact and influence decision-making. She is especially passionate about using communications to advance equity, strengthen systems, and translate complex work into messages that resonate with communities, funders and policymakers.

She holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a background in journalism and is known for her collaborative, practical approach and ability to bridge strategy with execution.
