Culturally relevant campaigns across Kenya to improve understanding, reduce stigma, and promote early identification

Autism Awareness & Advocacy

We implement comprehensive autism awareness and advocacy programs in Kenya aimed at improving public understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and reducing stigma at community, institutional, and policy levels. Our awareness initiatives are designed to be culturally relevant, accessible, and responsive to local realities, particularly in under-resourced and marginalized communities.

Through community sensitization forums, school-based outreach, media engagement, and public education campaigns, we promote autism acceptance, inclusion, and early identification. These initiatives help parents, teachers, healthcare workers, and community leaders recognize early signs of autism and respond with empathy and informed support.

Our advocacy work also focuses on influencing inclusive policies and strengthening systems that support autistic individuals across their lifespan. By collaborating with local governments, civil society organizations, and national stakeholders, we contribute to creating environments where autistic people are respected, protected, and meaningfully included in society.
