Makbul Saad is an experienced terminal operations and management professional with over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. He has extensive expertise in LPG terminal operations, safety compliance, automation systems and strategic planning.

Currently serving in senior leadership roles within the energy sector, Makbul has led large-scale operational projects, including terminal commissioning, safety system upgrades and ISO certification processes (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 17025). His background reflects a strong commitment to operational excellence, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Makbul brings a disciplined, systems-oriented perspective to the SBAF Board, contributing governance oversight, safety-focused thinking and strategic leadership to support the Foundation’s sustainability and long-term impact.
